Take That and Party at the Bandstand

27 June 2018

Audiences at Eastbourne Bandstand will be hoping that they ‘Never Forget’ Friday 6 July as The Take That Experience pay tribute to one of the UK’s most successful boybands.

Take That TributeWith 28 top 40 singles, 12 UK number ones and combined record sales of over 45 million, fans can expect a pop-filled set list full of Take That classics including ‘Everything Changes, ‘Pray’, ‘Back for Good’ and the more recent hits ‘Patience’ and ‘Shine’. It’s then ‘Back to Black’ on Saturday 7 July as the Bandstand plays host to Tania Alboni & The Monkey Men who’ll be evoking the legendary voice of soul singer Amy Winehouse. It’ll be a music packed day on Sunday 8 July with the Traditional Afternoon concert courtesy of the Heathfield Silver Band at 3pm followed at 8pm by The Sounds of Simon, a tribute to the sounds of Simon & Garfunkel. The show takes in the full range of the American folk rock duo's career together, as well as drawing extensively from Paul Simon's solo career. So it doesn’t matter if your name is ‘Mrs Robinson’ or ‘Cecilia’ the Sounds of Simon will be bringing some of the duo’s most memorable hits to the stage.
