The weekend of 7 – 9 September sees a celebration of some of the biggest stars in the music business with tribute concerts to Stevie Wonder, The Rat Pack and U.S Divas.

The excitement begins on Friday 7 September as Know Wonder hit the Bandstand stage with a soulful tribute to international superstar Stevie Wonder. The band will be bringing some Motown vibes with a journey through Stevie Wonder’s massive songbook including the classic hits ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’, ‘I Just Called To Say I Love You’, ‘Superstition’ and many more.

A true musical legend, Stevie Wonder has recorded more than 30 U.S top ten hits and won 25 Grammy awards in a career spanning over five decades.

Watch out Eastbourne…. The Rat Pack is Back! Bringing some big band swagger to the Bandstand on Saturday 8 September will be David Alacey, Des Coleman and Paul Drakley.

The official UK number one tribute show comes direct from London’s Leicester Square theatre, the O2 and a Royal command performance. Fans can step back in time to the golden era of Frank, Sammy and Dean and enjoy the wonderful comedy and music of the original legends who ruled the entertainment world.

The Rat Pack Tribute at the BandstandA Traditional Afternoon concert returns on Sunday 9 September with music provided by the Farnborough Concert Band of The Royal British Legion from 3pm. Later that evening, prepare to be blown away with sass, glamour, big voices and even bigger hair when strutting onto the Bandstand stage will be The U.S Divas Show. Belting out hits from the truly legendary Divas Madonna, Cher and Tina Turner, these ladies will have fans singing and dancing to iconic tunes such as ‘Like A Prayer’, ‘Believe’, and ‘Simply The Best’.

Tickets for each evening show cost £7.95 in advance (child £5.95) and doors open at 7pm for an 8pm performance. Friends of Eastbourne Bandstand card holders receive 10% off their ticket. Tickets for the Traditional Afternoon concert cost £3.50 (child £2.00).
