Gatsby’s Jukebox Brings 1920’s Twist On Modern Hits

24 July 2017

Modern day hits will get a 1920’s twist at Eastbourne Bandstand on Friday 11 August, as swing band Gatsby’s Jukebox bring their unique take on today’s chart toppers, from Rhianna to Daft Punk.

Gatsby's Jukebox

Specializing in performing today’s hits in yesterday’s style, the band bring their blend of 1920’s Gatsby swing into their renditions of the best in modern popular pop music.

Formed in London the six extremely talented performers have perfected their sound to provide audiences with a truly authentic 1920’s swing performance.

The first concert of its kind at Eastbourne Bandstand, Gatsby’s Jukebox’s repertoire includes famous well known artists such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Daft Punk and many more.

On Saturday, the famous ‘Maggie May’ singer Rod Stewart is returning to the seaside in a homage by the popular ‘Rod Stuart’ tribute act. Known as the finest Rod Stewart tribute act around, this act previously entertained Eastbourne Bandstand receiving an outstanding welcome from audiences.

Returning on Saturday 12 August the uncanny look and sound-a-like, not only looks like Rod’s long lost twin, but when he adds in the vocals and moves supported by his charisma and outstanding stage presence, audiences will be blown away with the performance.

Rod Stewart fans can sing and dance along to numerous hits spanning across 50 years, including ‘Sailing’ the 1978 number one hit, ‘Do ‘Ya’ Think I’m Sexy?’ and ‘I Don’t Want To Talk About It’. With a career as successful as Rod’s, audiences will be thoroughly entertained by Rod Stuart's performance including his audience participation and fun.

Doors and the bar open at 7.00pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £5.50 for children, with 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.
