A snowy Michelham Priory

About

Step into the festive season at the Christmas Fayre at Michelham Priory, as we invite you to explore over 800 years of history while enjoying the best of Sussex's festive offerings.

A number of stalls will fill our Elizabethan Great Barn with gifts and treats, a perfect way to get started on your Christmas shopping.

Children and their families can visit Santa in his grotto, and receive a small gift – free, with donations encouraged. We'll also have some delightful festive arts and crafts for children to get involved in.

The CSharps and The Seaside Singers will be joining us, singing Christmas songs throughout the weekend.

The Michelham Bowmen and Wolsfhead Bowmen will bring this historic site to life with archery and reenactment displays on both days, either in the main house or out in the grounds.

Founded in 1229, this former Augustinian Priory, with its medieval moat, ancient architecture, and tranquil gardens, offers an unforgettable setting for your festive day out.
