Creative Writing Workshops - Autumn Course

About

New for 2023: seasonal writing courses at the Beachy Head Story exhibition (with our Writer in Residence)

With this programme of writing workshops, we’ll explore the fascinating and complex landscape and heritage of Beachy Head over the course of the year, looking at aspects of geology and archaeology, social history and the natural environment.  Each workshop will be layered with poetry and prose and stories to inspire the writers in us

Monday 16th October, 7.30 - 9.30am: The Colours of Dawn (Landscape painting in words)

Monday 13th November, 10.30am - 12.15pm: War and Peace on the Edge of a Nation (borderlands and the old prospect of battle)

Monday 11th December, 10.30am - 12.15pm: The Experience of Landscape (sense of place and the notion of home)
