Eastbourne Choral Society performs Purcell's King Arthur, a semi opera, conducted by John Hancorn, Musical Director, on Saturday 5 July at 7.00pm at All Saints Church, Grange Road, Eastbourne. The choir will be joined by five soloists and The Eastbourne Players. This is a lively and uplifting musical work based on the tales of battles between King Arthur’s Britons and the Saxons. Tickets are £15 (free for children) available from Eastbourne Visitor Centre or from www.wegottickets.com or can be purchased on the door. There will also be a retiring collection in aid of the Samaritans.
