Devonshire Collective

About

Devonshire Collective (DC) is a cultural and community organisation rooted in Eastbourne's Devonshire Ward, and an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. In 2026 DC marks ten years of making art with its neighbourhood.

DC runs two spaces a few doors apart on Seaside Road: VOLT, DC's gallery, showing free contemporary art exhibitions, and DC Learn, DC's learning space, where children, young people and families take part in free artist-led activities all year round. Each year 1,800+ children and young people take part in DC's free artist-led learning, and 3,000+ visitors see free exhibitions at VOLT.

In summer 2026 VOLT presents Tessa Boffin: Where We Touch the Archive, a national touring exhibition launching in Eastbourne before travelling to Nottingham, Brighton and Portsmouth (18 July to 5 September).

Open Wednesday to Saturday, 12-5pm. Free entry.
