About

Every Wednesday in August we open the doors at DC Learn for young people and families. Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm, stay as long as you like, and all materials are provided.

Wednesday 5 August: Community Mosaic Fish. Help create a giant fish mosaic from decorated bottle tops. Decorate as many tops as you like and place them on the fish.

Wednesday 12 August: Faces of Eastbourne. Draw your portrait twice: one for a large wall artwork, one to take home. We want to collect as many faces as possible.

Wednesday 19 August: Pet Rocks. Paint a pebble as an animal, or decorate one to use as a paperweight or doorstop.

Wednesday 26 August: Steam Punk Hats. Eastbourne Bonfire Society would love to see more young people walking in the Steam Punk Parade, so we will be making and decorating hats on a steam punk theme. Bring your own hat to decorate, or use one of ours.

Summer drop-ins are supported by the John Jackson Charitable Trust and Chalk Cliff Trust.
