99% of evidence that alleges to be paranormal is either erroneous or fraudulent. That leaves 1% of information that, at present, defies explanation.

A series of monthly live audio dramas with a difference…

Amy Sutton and Jack Kristianson are your presenters – immersing you in a short fully illustrated presentation that will enlighten you with a tale of some aspect of the paranormal.

After an interval, the roughly one hour-long audio drama begins – recorded live for web transmission – with a cast of up to nine actors weaving a most captivating tale.

Night Swimming

Harry Potter meets James Bond. Marin is a fish out of water. Quite literally. She is a twelve year old schoolgirl who just happens to be a mermaid. But how can a mermaid survive in London 2018, so far from the sea? This is something she is about to find out….

Night swimming will resonate with any young person, who is growing up and away from their parents whilst discovering their own identity.

Written by award winning writer Judy Upton, Night Swimming is the first in a series of stories about Marin and her friends. Having successfully collaborated with TBC Audio on a number of productions, including Extraordinary Tales, Judy has adapted his story as an full-cast audio theatre production for TBC Audio.

This will be the world premier of Night Swimming and the recording will be aired later in the year.

Before recording the play, the regular presenters of The Other 1% will look at the history of Mermaids and discuss the rise in popularity of mermaids in the world of cosplay. A special guest will present a prize to the best dressed mermaid on the day.

Two Acts. 30 mins and 60 mins. Suitable for all ages. The show contains material of a family nature and it is suggested that adults over the age of 12 should be accompanied by someone younger.
